what's a witch? and what's a wiccan? what does it mean to be one of those? (both wicca and witch) wat kinda spellbooks do they use? titles please? only spells for good not evil
As others have said...witchcraft is a practice - quite literally a craft, an art. Witches practice such things as folk magic, Energy Healing, divination, and other such occult practices. Magic is energy - witches learn to raise their inherent energy, focus it and direct it toward a goal.
Wicca is a religion. A Wiccan is one who follows the religion of Wicca. Wicca accepts the practice of witchcraft within the religion, but it is not a requirement. The basic commonalities amongst most Wiccans are belief in the divine masculine and feminine - God(s) and Goddess(es), honoring Nature and the natural cycles of the year (equinoxes, solstices, moon phases, etc.), and following a code of ethics based on the Wiccan rede.
I am both Wiccan and witch. What does it mean to be one or both of those? It depends on which witch or which Wiccan you ask! To me, besides what I mentioned above for commonalities, it is a path of continuous learning and growth, and striving to be the best person I can be.
While I have books that contain spells written by others, I tend to write my own spells when needed, so the "spellbook" I use most is a binder containing magical correspondences (color magic, herbal magic, etc.) and the spells I've written myself.
