Wicca Tarot
I'm am currently studying the wicca religion.?
I have recently started studying wicca and currently living in Guatemala, I cannot find the things that i need to have an alter, herbs, Tarot Cards, etc. Does anyone know of any place to get these things in Guatemala? Buying online is not an option because I have no credit cards. Please help!!!!!
I agree with Kel, you don't really "need" anything other than yourself. Your index finger is the only wand you really need, and I'm sure you have a knife which can be used for an athame or bolline.
Pocket knifes, nail file or even scissors or letter openers can also be athames.
You Can probably even do without herbs, what you have in your spice rack will suffice, but you do need salt.
An altar can be a cardboard or plastic blanket box - you can just cover it with a cloth that you can paint or embroider a pentacle on, maybe add a white candle for the Goddess. When you are done everything will store away nicely inside.
It can even be the top of your TV, or a fireplace mantle.
Any drinking or wine glass will work for a chalice.
Incense is nice but not mandatory, if you can't have that or candles you can use air freshener or a string of lights.
Envelopes, glue, rubber bands and needle and thread are great for binding.
Instead of the traditional gemstones, try these urban stones: quartz, marble, granite, slate, tar, pitch, asphalt and/or construction rubble.
