Wicca Haunted
Pagans or Wiccans - Help me.?
I'm going to be 100% honest with everyone who is Wiccan and Pagan. I was raised and grew up in a Christian background and half my life I have devoted to serving God and being Christian and going to church - until the day that I began recieving unwanted attention from spirits that like to haunt me. (To anyone who is thinking it, I am NOT schizo). They havnt hurt me they just sometimes scare me a little. I've been begging my god to stop these from happening through prayers and so far, nothing has happend as if conveniently, god has selective hearing. So I turned to my trusty box of incense to try to ward them away, while just plainly saying "go away spirits." However this doesnt really work, not only that but i've had a ton of Bad Luck. And yet again my so called loving god ignores me.
How do I create protection spells to keep me from being harmed, and to turn negative energies into positive energies? But furthermore and probably most importantly, SHOULD i learn Wicca or Pagan first?
If you want to try to call upon the pagan gods to rid your house of malevolent spirits, you should only do so if you honestly believe, or honestly want to believe that the pagan gods exist. You don't have to convert to Paganism to call on the pagan gods, but you should only use their names in all seriousness. Apollo is one deity that Pagans often call on for exorcism. Any god who has protective powers would work as well. These might include Isis, Horus, Athena, Artemis, Jupiter, Zeus, Brighid, Hestia (more for her association with home and hearth than for protection), etc. I wouldn't recommend using witchcraft since you most likely have not studied it, but there's nothing wrong with appealing to deities to try to banish the malevolent spirits.
