Wicca Age
I am extremley interested in Wicca but don't quite know how to get started?
I have visited the local new age store but wasn't quite sure exactly what I was looking for. I have also done alot of research on the history of wicca and the art of Spell Casting and witchcraft online. Any suggestions as to how I can further my research and possibly begin to practice wicca?
First of all, know that witchcraft is only a tiny tiny part of Wicca, and many don't even use it at all. So if you're really interested in Wicca, forget about magick right now altogether, that will come later.
I suggest reading the book 'Wicca: A Guide for the solitary practitioner' by Scott Cunningham. (anything by him is great) Silver Ravenwolf is okay for beginners, but she tends to just present the flowery-fluffy side of Wicca, which is all good and well, but you need to know about all aspects of it. Raymond Buckland is also good- "Complete book of Witchcraft" (Big Blue book) but he is rather opinionated and can be slightly confusing for a beginner.

edit: like the poster below me (frau) pointed out, try not to pay for 'lessons' over the internet. With that being said, if you want to learn about Wicca, I'm not going to charge you.
