Your Life

What is your most important life lesson you have learned?
Here is what I have come up with. I welcome comments.
Please, tell me I havent been living a life in vain. Thanks
1. Chose your friends wisely. Quality is what matters, and character. See people for who they really are.
2. Educate yourself. Knowledge is power.
3. Dont be driven by money. It will corrupt your sould, and you will never reach what you desire, and never become happy.
4. Dont concern yourself with other peoples business. Over time, their problems will become your problems.
5. Consider the credibilty of the person who is giving you adivce. More times then not, it derives from their anxities and shortcomings in life.
6. Live your life for you, you cant please everybody.
7. Your family comes first,thy truly understand, and are their for your.
8. Be cautious of who you allocate your time to. People can be taxing, and dont expend any effort towards those who "dont get it."
9. Dont do drugs, drink, or womanize. These are superfical pick me ups, with side effects.
Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
