Wicca Magick

I have questions about Wicca?

Hi there: I'm in the process of outlining a new series of books and my characters are, for lack of a better word, Magick. I have a ton of questions regarding Wicca, Magick and the like and wondered if anyone would be willing to help me out by answering a few questions. I want believable characters with believable powers.

For one thing magic isn’t spelt with a ‘K’ unless you yourself practice high or ceremonial magic. Wicca is a specific religion, it is priesthood within its own rights, it is not All About magic and those who follow it do not have supernatural powers. Wicca is oath-bound meaning that only those who have been initiated into a BTW coven know the beliefs, practices, doctrines, gods and mysteries of Wicca, no matter how much you research or how many people you talk to unless you spend many years studying and join a lineage coven you will not know enough about Wicca to write believable Wiccan characters, even if you did you’d be bound by oath not to talk about what you have learned about Wicca. The most you will ever do with these books is insult an entire religion and spread further ignorance about their path.
