Skulls Skeleton

What's the deal with skulls and crossbones everywhere I look?

Why do I keep seeing clothes and accessories patterned with skulls, crossbones and skeletons? They're everywhere!
Are all the young people turning into pirates? All the association with death is disturbing.

I admit that I have a few clothing items with skulls on them, but now it's just overrated and disgusting if you think about it. You walk into a store for young pre-teens, and on a pink shirt you'll see a skull with some lil butterflies aorund it. What's up with that?

I guess skulls give you a more "tougher" look and a rebellious look. But it's on everything clothing stores sell and it's kind of stupid if you think about it. I don't wear shirts with skulls because it's a "trend" or because it's "in". I must say that sometimes they look good on certain shirts, associated with different colours. But i don't own many so, eh. I guess this is All About it being "in". People don't think, they just buy. Buying it because everyone else has it.
