Biker Skull

Found a Ring that says FW1 with a skull in the shape of a fist-What is it?

I found this ring hidden in a box at my deceased grandfather's house. He was a WW2 German Navy Sergeant. His son, my father was in the 101st air born in Vietnam. My dad was a biker and it looks like a ring he would have worn. (he is also gone) It is a ring in the shape of a fist punching outward. Each knuckle on the fist has a symbol on it in this order. A German Cross, FW, a skull, and the number 1 with the thumb jammed underneath the fingers. What is this thing?

I'm still waiting to find out what it is so I have not chosen a best answer yet. However, I've seen photos of this ring for sale online. Maybe they are replicas, or maybe it is an old ring that still is popular. I'm beginning to think this is a biker ring after all.

It seems to be a Biker type ring, similar to the "Phantom" cartoon character! The Phantom had a ring that left the mark of a skull when the victim was hit! The Iron Cross, FW & the 1 were personalization's of the mark!

Add: Viet vets, particularly airborne had this kind of custom jewelry made! The 1 could stand for a 1%'er, which meant he was a criminal type!
