Adjustable Necklace

How do you make an adjustable knot bracelet or necklace?

I'd like to start making bracelets because I found a ton of embroidery floss that I have no idea what to do with. So I was trying to look it up online and I couldn't find anything that made any sense to me at all. Does anyone know how to make a bracelet/necklace that You Can adjust using knots?

It's really easy actually! What you do is get one large string, decorate it and tie two simple knots like these: http://www.antoinetteberns.nl/gifplaatjes/mix/knoop_touw1.gif over the other ends. That way it's kind of like when you grab your left arm with your right hand and your right arm with your left hand. Your hands will slide over your arms if you pull your arms apart, and that's how the knot should work too.
