what is mad eye moody's relationship to Harry Potter?
I know he is in the 4th-7th books and movies, but how did he come in to play? And how did Harry grow so fond of Lupin? Another question when Sirius dies why does Lupin come and hold Harry? He just ends up running after her anyways. If you could answer all of them that would be great thanks!
So Moody is just another one that watches out for Harry?
Moody is hired at Hogwarts (he's really Barty Crouch Jr. though) so that's when he first comes in and than of course he's part of the Order. He's there as one of the protectors of Harry.
I think Harry took such a liking to Lupin because him and his dad and godfather were best friends. He was the actual only good Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Harry ever had.
He's trying to hold Harry back from killing Bellatrix. He doesn't want Harry to do something that he'll regret. He tries to hold him back but Harry breaks free. And Lupin couldn't keep a hold on Harry forever because everyone else was still fighting.
