Hand Blended

Can I Hand Wash my Dry Clean Sweater?

I bought a sweater without realizing it was dry clean only. I ordered it online and the material said is cotton blend. Could i hand/machine wash this and put it in the dryer? I know about Dryel but i don't really want to buy it cause it can become costly to wash this sweater. I will buy Dryel only as a last resort.

i dont know, u should probably follow the others' suggestions.

ive got a skirt thats the same (dry clean only) but ive put it in the wash 1000x n see no difference..... course i dont remember what condition it was in when i got it..

but there are some items around here that i dont take chances on.

if u dont wanna follow the instructions cuz of dry cleaning costs or going out of ur way w/ hand washing, then i feel ur pain. i cant stand the hand-wash. much rather let the machine do it all! but ive never done dry cleaning before, dont know really anything about it.
