Black Build-up on Coffin/Box Incense Burner, Cleaning it?
I have one of those fancy wooden incense burners with the holes in the top for the smoke and well, I close it like I thought you were supposed to when you burn stuff. I've had it for about a year now and there's a thick black buildup of oily tar stuff on the inside, and it's starting to drip and won't come off by any sort of goo-gone or soap.
Any chance of getting this stuff off and reviving my trusty ol' pal, or am I stuck with having to live with this or buy a new one?
Try rubbing alcohol that should work...if not maybe vinegar but that might leave a smell for a while.
