Stripper Deck
Do I have to use a stain stripper before I stain the deck?
Last year I used Olympic wood protector with a toner. The deck was very bad weathered and the result was not very good. So I decided to take a solid-color stain this time. I have already washed the deck with the olympic deck cleaner but the color was not gone. Can I now put on the stain on it or do I need to strip the toner off before?
Yes you should strip off as much of the old protectent as possible or it may keep the new from penetrating the wood.
