Why did you have to kill the aeons back in Final fantasy X?
What was the point of that? If the aeons were still there Vegnagun didnt need to eat the statues.
How could he control Shiva, Anima, and the Magus sisters' Fayth?
If you played through the whole game (SPOLIER), you would know that Sin is controlled by Yu Yevon and he uses the Final Aeon that is used to destroy a current "Sin" to keep being reborn and keep on wreaking havoc on the people of Spira. As long as there are no aeons, Yu Yevon can never use their powers for evil. Yu Yevon was once a summoner, but dark intention clouded his judgement and he wanted more and more power. Thus, he's the one that first "created" Sin to have ultimate power. By killing the aeons, you essentially kill Yu Yevon and thus peace reigns in Spira with no more Sin.
