Sri Yantra
Should a sri yantra necessarily be worshipped or can ot also be placed at home as a piece of art?
we have been gifted a sri chakra engraved on marble and we are not confident of elaborately worshipping it on a daily basis. could we still have it at home just as a piece of art? also, it does not have the bindu in the centre. Is it very bad to have one like that?
I don't believe they are for "worship" but more for guided/focused meditation. You could certainly put it in Your Home as a piece of artwork, or just use it occasionally for meditation or worship however you choose. I have been to an ashram that has a Sri Yantra in it & it's just on the wall- they don't specifically make mention of "how to use it" nor do they do daily practices around it.
