Atheists: Have you really never experienced the Life-Force?
Despite the fact that there are some people who
don't believe in God, many still believe in a universal
life-force that imbues all living creatues.
In the past it was called "elan vital" by Renaissance
biologists...before that , in the Pagan traditions, it
was called "Nerth or Neart" in Celtic Drudism,
Prana in Hinduism and Reiki in Japanese Shintoism.
In Christianity, it is God's Immanence, his Spirit in
creation.
Step into the woods and the wild, and You Can feel
it in atmosphere...I can ...so can millions of people
( some say the best time is at sunrise)......it shows
that nature is fundamentally "alive" and is not some
mecahanistic contraption.
But to sense it, you have to be open to it....if you
are going to be skeptical and cynical all the time,
you will not feel its presence...you have to let go
and listen to it.
Why won't you?
