Looking for help finding info on Aeval Fairy Queen of Munster, Lady of Sexuality. Can you help?
I can only find information on her regarding a harp she played and if you heard it you would not live long thereafter. I'd like to know more about that and about her midnight court to hear a woman's charge that her husband wasn't doing his husbandly duties. The sites I am finding merely repeat that same information. I'd like more depth information. Maybe someone has an Irish family member, friend or scholar who knows folklore and could share the story in detail...or guidance to where I can find more on my own. Help is appreciated.

In Irish mythology, Aibell (Aoibhell, Aeval) was a goddess or fairy queen of Munster. She determined if husbands were sexually satisfying their wives.

Irish 'fairy' goddess.Queen of the Munster fairies and a guardian spirit who dwelled at Craig Liath (the grey rock). Her name means 'beautiful'. She possessed a magic harp which legend states that those who heard it did not live long afterwards.
Aoibhell ruled a sidhe in North Munster, but little is known about her before she became deminatured into "fairy" status by popular folklore. Aoibhell means "beautiful" and is taken from the Irish word aoibhinn. She became the guardian spirit of the Dál g Cais, otherwise known as the Dalcassians or O'Brien clan. Her home was at the Craig Liath, or gray rock, which was located two miles north of Killaloe. She was also the lover of Dubhlainn Ua Artigan. Aoibhell possessed a magic harp that she gifted to Meardha and it was believed that whoever heard the harp’s music would not live long afterward.

Aoibheall is a famous fairy queen of County Clare. She is the Banshee of the O'Brien family and wails to presage the death of any of their members. She had a lover who was an attendant of Murchadh eldest son of Brian Boru and she put a magic mist about him to try and prevent him from going to the Battle of Clontarf as she knew a great many would be killed there. He did not heed her and went on anyway so she followed him there and went to the tent of Brian Boru where she informed him he would be victorious but that he would lose his life and the first of his sons that came to see him that night would be made king.
Brian sent for Murchadh because he wanted him to be king, but Murchadh delayed by changing into fresh clothes and it was Donnchadh his other son who went to his tent first.
There are many poems about Aoibheall written in the 18th century the most famous of these is 'The Midnight Court' written by Brian Merriman in 1780. Which is still performed in theatres today.
Old Irish goddess or fairy queen, associated with north Munster, a patron of the O'Briens. Her fairy mound is at Craig Liath (also Craigeevil), near Killaloe, Co. Clare. Comparable to both Áine and Clídna, she was a rival of the latter for the affections of Caomh. Clídna put her under a spell and changed her into a white cat. In other accounts, she accompanied Brian Bórama (Boru) to Clontarf and became a lover of an attendant, Dubhlaing, to Brian's oldest son.
Aíbell figures in many works of Irish literature including the 18th-century Cúirt an Mheáin Oíche or Midnight Court of Brian Merriman and The Mock Aeneid of Donnchadh Ruadh Mac Conmara (MacNamara). Also the name of the wife of Áed (8).
