Quartz Rock
Where can I find the current price of Quartz Crystal?
I have a very large quartz Crystal Rock (it weighs about 75 pounds). I found it in the attic of my aunt's house when the other people moved out and left it. She gave it to me and I'm wondering if it's worth anything or just a neat rock to sit around?

It looks similar to this only much, much bigger.
If it was perfectly transparent then you could probably sell it on ebay. Some of those crystal power loonies would jump at it.
Clear Quartz crystal used to be worth money because it was used to make crystals for old style radio transmitters. Solid state devices have taken over that job now.
