Pyrite Mineral
Where could I find minerals?
Real minerals, like feldspar, pyrite, galena, etc...
are their places for finding them, do they wash up on the beach.
Actually most of the fill in roads and driveways that is gray is limestone (a form of calcite) not feldspar. To find "real" minerals, as in the type you would actually like to look at and collect, your best bet is to contact a local rockhound club. Most clubs I know have field trips to look for interesting crystals or rocks or fossils. It makes a great hobby.
