Harry Potter, Why was Sirius laughing?
So I just finshed reading Harry Potter Prisoner of Askaban, and I understand that Sirius Black doesn't want to kill him and was framed, but when then, when the wizard police came to get Sirius he was laughing.
It said Fudge (sp?) was first to arrive at the scene when the 12 moguls and pettirgrew died, and Sirius didn't even try to run away, he said he just stood there laughing.
We know now he didn't kill all of those people so, why was he laughing?
Probably because that was his way of dealing with things. I don't think he is the sort to cry. He probably just laughed hysterically instead of sobbing. He also must have thought it was amusing (in a wierd sort of way) the Peter was working for Voldemort and that he had sold James and Lily to Voldemort. On the whole I think it was just his way of grieving
