Can I put a new name on my personalized jersey?
I received a Cubs jersey as a gift many years ago with my first name on the back. I'd like to change it to my last name and maybe pick a different number.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a place online that would do this. Or anywhere for that matter.
It can be done, but it might not look quite how you want it to. The letters and numbers can be removed, but the seams are still going to make an outline of where the old letters/numbers were.
Depending on how long your first name is compared to your last name, the new letters/numbers might cover up most of the old stitching, but it won't be perfect.
I had a jersey re-customized through Wrigleyville Sports a few months ago. They did a great job, but You Can still see some of the seams from the old letters. They warned me before I had it done, but I figured I'd still try it. My recommendation...just save up and get a new Custom Jersey.
