Pentacle Ring
What does a five pointed star with an I in the center mean?
My housemate bought a ring for a friend thinking it was Kabalistic but I haven't been able to find the symbol anywhere on the internet. It's a five pointed pentacle with a capital letter i (or possibly an h) in the center. There are lines ending at each point radiating from the outside of the inner pentagon. I wish I could draw it here. Anyway does anyone know what religion or occult practice has that star and/or what it means?
An I would be the letter Yod. The first letter of YHVH.
It's often used as a central letter in pentacles. Usually in Hebrew or celestial Hebrew.
In religious geometry and Alchemy. God is the point at the centre of the circle. All creation comes from that point.
