Pentacle Altar
So I told my parents I'm Wiccan... Now what?
My dad thinks it's "a slippery slope downhill" but he'll let me practice Wicca because when he was my age, his parents forbade him from practicing Christianity. My mom actually thinks it's cool and "as long as [I] have a belief, [she's] fine with it." now that they know I'm Wiccan but they really don't want to know anything about it, can I ask them if I can set up an altar in my room? What about a Pentacle Necklace (for protection... Not to look cool, I'd wear it under my shirt most of the time anyway)? So.. Any suggestions as to how I should ask, what I should ask for, etc.
If you try to convert me, I will report you. And yes, I have researched this thoroughly and I'm sure that this is what I believe in... I researched for the standard year and a day and I've been "Wiccan" for a year now. And no, I'm not doing this to look cool, I live in the bible belt. Rather than it being "cool" when people find out, I'll probably be ridiculed by it.

I think You Can probably set up an altar in your room without any specific permission. An altar need not be anything terribly elaborate, after all. A nightstand will do.
As to the pentacle, unless you need their help to buy it, again, I don't know that you need specific permission From Your parents. I do recommend you wear it "in" rather than "out" most of the time, at least in public. Religious choice and belief are something that should be personal, and not worn on one's sleeve, as it were.
