Page Poster
How do i design a powerpoint page to print in A1?
I have to design a poster for uni and have been told to use powerpoint. We have facilities at uni to print on A1 but i cant seem to program my document to that size. I have tried page setup but the biggest that goes to is A3.
Im using windows 2003, please help!!

You Can set the size of the PP document to custom using the below values:
594 × 841
In PP, go to page setup and under paper type select 'custom'. You will then be able to enter the above values in MM. You can then design your page in the usual way. When you print the page it will look exactly like you designed it as the design layout is which you have created it A1 size.
Another way is to design your page as A4 and let the printer re-size the document. This will make everything bigger when you print as it will have to make an A4 document A1 size. This will be in your printer properties when you print and differs for each printer.
