Castle in the sky and Stardust similarities?
When i first saw the trailer for stardust in my mind i was thinking castle in the sky castle in the sky. then up came stardust.. they have so many similarites i havent actually seen castle in the sky but i've seen trailers and stuff. the part where she had that necklace and she fell out of the sky seemed similar, the pirate ship that was in the sky was too. The fact that there was an evil witch after them too was weird. Was this meant to be similar, like kind of a different version of Hayao Miyazaki's castle in the sky??
Ya the writer for Stardust worked with Miyazaki's movies for some time, and tried to do a remake of his own. It's coincidence the similarities though, but if you see more of Miyazaki's movies you'll understand they all have similar plots and characters.
