Natural Fluorite
Any brands of white fluorite substrate?
The Seachem bags of fluorite are almost always sold in black or red, so I was wondering if anyone knows of brands of fluorite in white. I am starting a planted aquarium and I am aiming for a more natural look.

Be careful as white is often a substrate that is calcium based and will increase the pH. African cichlids substrates are included in that category as are most marine/saltwater substrates. There are inert white substrates that are lighter that are better to use with the planted substrate than african cichlids mixes:

Many people will use the plant substrate and then leave a open area for the white sandy areas as well as put the sands or other substrates over the plant substrates.
A nice alternative is to scatter some different size river rocks over the top of the plant substrates too.

So the fluorite is going to be a red/brown or a black, not white, but there is the option to add lighter substrates and rocks around or over the fluorite to give some contrast and a lighter appearance.
There are many ways to aquascape a tank! You don't have to stick with a single bland substrate evenly over the bottom. Add some levels, get some ground covers, put in "paths" with different substrates, etc!
