A Friend of the family wants to sell his sony 42 inch rear projection TV for $500 it works great but?
I play more videogames than I do watching tv is image burning from playing videogames stil l a problem with projection tv's and if so how many months does it take for a screen to get a burnt image for $500 I would be happy to get 9 months out should I buy i also he just replaced yhe bulb thanks
TVs rarely burn in anymore. The only thing that could cause it is by playing nothing but the same game constantly for an extended period of time, or leaving it on pause for days.
I've played many games on my projection TV with no problems.
If it's an HD model, then its definitely worth the $500, and should keep you happy for years to come.
