Why does money seem to boost your mood?
I notice when I have some, I change drastically when I have it. I seem more focused on my problems, when I have none.
It temporarily releases dopamine... but then when the money is gone and spent, you are back to wanting it again.
You Can never have enough of something you don't really need.
And I mean that in the sense that, after all your basic needs, you will only be wanting more and more stuff. There will always be something needed to be upgraded, always another outfit to buy, always more jewelry to buy. The richest people still are never satisfied and are always buying more and more stuff to fill a void that is a bottomless pit.
