Who is your favorite member of the Fellowship of the Ring?
and, if you have a preference, tell me whether Aragorn or Legolas is hotter? (Aragorn is a wrinkly old man....)
Since when is about who is hotter?? Aragorn earned every one of his wrinkles through 60 years of traveling through middle earth. He is wise, he has been tested by time. And very much unlike the movie portrayed him (which p*ssed me off by the way) he was working to embrace his role as king and unite his people. Elrond told him when he was 20, shortly after he met Arwen for the first time, that the only way he would be worthy of wedding her is if he became king, even then his blood would not be high enough to be worthy of her.
But I digress. My favorite of the fellowship has and always will be Gandalf. Not because he's a wizard. But because he is incredibly complex. People have the mistaken impression that after the fight with the balrog and he came back as Gandalf the White that he was somehow more powerful. BUt that is not the case. He wore the white robes to show that he was head of the Astari, the White Counsil, a position that Galadriel wanted him to have from the very beginning. I could go on for days, but I will end it here.
