Lego type, Dragon themed medieval war sets from 6-9 years ago?
About 6-9 years ago, there were a set of toys that were medieval themed and each box ( there were 4-6 of these boxes ) had a landscape you could build and place with the others if you wanted, each box also contained a flag and toy soldiers (they looked like lego's, but they weren't and you could take their head, arms, and torso off (legs were attached (sort of)) and a Dragon came with each box, and it had a little gem that you could attack to its neck, it had a removable upper head and its wings and both appendages (legs and arms) could be separated. its a great set of toys from my younger youth and nostalgia is a glorious thing (I have a horrible nomadic life and it would really help me out)
I used to have the original "Yellow Castle" Lego Set from waaaay back, the first mideval set you had to build brick by brick. Then several years later I got the "Grey Castle" Lego set that had hollow panel-like pieces that made up the walls, but neither of them had dragons. I don't remember coming across any Lego sets that match what you describe.
I remember getting a couple of Tyco Block sets for gifts they were Lego-like, but not all their pieces meshed well with my original Legos. I tried doing a search on Tyco castle sets, but none of them seemed to match either, then I ran across mention of Mega Bloks.
I never had Mega Bloks or even recall runninf across any of them, but when I did a further search I found some sets that I think match what you described. There are 3 that I came across...
