Jinn Genie
For those who know, what is a Jinn?
I must know the truth about what a Jinn is. I did some research online, but it wasn't very helpful just made me more confused. All I have heard is that they are genies or sometimes I have heard they are somewhat like a demon? I'm very confused, I would really like to know what they are, what is their purpose, etc. Thanks to all helpful answer!
Jinns are the creation of Allah....just like the creation of Humans....
Allah has created many many different things. (different races and ummah)..living and non-living before He created his top most creation i.e. human....
Jinns were created from smokeless fire......and the well known jinn to us is what we known as Satan or iblis or devil...who refused to prostrate infront of Adam.
He was among jinn but because of his efforts in praying his level was raised...but then a single refusal of command just because of internal proud sent him down to hell...
Jinn lives just like we human live.....they have the same sort of communities....there are good and bad jinns.....there are muslim jinns...christian jinns....Mushrik jinns....non-believer jinns....
The variation that we see in belief in humans the same exists in jinns too..
They also have marriages...deaths...though their life span is very long as compared to humans...
they also eat and drink.....and their food is bones and excretion of goats....
The system of Allah is like that...excretion of one creation is the food of other creations....see the example of trees and humans....we excrete CO2 and the excrete oxygen....
Jinn usually live in places where either there is no human or very few humans.....
Usually they don't interact with humans as we cannot interact with them....but sometimes it is possible to get such an interaction....
The power of jinns (which Allah give them) are not unlimited...and their powers and strength also varies from jinn to jinn...as powers of humans varies from one person to other....
there are also pious and criminal jinns...just like humans.....
The purpose of their creation was the same as the purpose of creation of humans....i.e. to pray only one God ...Allah...
But just like we are involved in worldly things and are not ready to accept to pray Allah....and have formed different gods after our imaginations and desires...
Jinns did the same....
What is the limit of the approach of jinns....either only this world of up to this galaxy.....or solar system....we don't know......
