Gathering Storm
Are there any bookstores in DFW that are open at midnight with the latest releases?
I need to find a bookstore in the Dallas-Ft Worth area that will have a new release available at midnight. Walmart is open, but won't have the title available until sometime later that day. Are there any major bookstores that will be open at that time? The book is The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan. Are there any bookstore owners or managers who are fans of the Wheel of Time, and might be willing to stay open? Please let me know.
Sorry but no. Even Half Price books is no longer open over night. The only time you see that sort of stunt is for a mega release that the store expects to sell out of immediately(Harry Potter). Since this is the ending trilogy of the series and since he's not one of the two or three writers that might get a million books sold the first day, you'll have to wait until the next day along with the rest of us unless You Can convince Lone Star Comics to stay open late and arraign for special early deliveries.
