Faries Faery
Why do some people believe in angels, but not faries?
A conundrum: if the existence of angles is widely accepted, then why is there resistance to other kinds of otherworldly beings, such as fairies (other-dimensional beings with strange powers, including mermaids, pixies, the like)? Many people don't believe in the traditional religions from which the angelic concepts originate, yet they affirm a belief in angels. When it comes to other types of beings, disbelief is more evident than faith among those surveyed on the question of the existence of Faery. Why is this?
I believe in them both but i know what you mean. Perhaps its because Angels are more religious type beings to do with heaven and God, whereas fairies to some people sound silly and unbelievable, perhaps the term "fairy stories" doesn't help, it kinda makes fairies look "made up". They are both classed as mythical beings, but as i said, angels have more strength in people's beliefs, especially because they are associated with God and heaven...
