Do you save your kids teeth that fall out?
I'm torn here.. the tooth fairy will be visiting my 8 yo son (he KNOWS it's me, but he's humoring me!) and I admit, I've saved some of his baby teeth that have fallen out... but this is a molar and I don't know if I should or not.. .or if I should throw away the whole lot of teeth I have stashed...
Its a personal choice. Kind of like saving the clip from the belly button, or keeping the first lock of hair from the first haircut. . . it all depends on the memories that you wanna save and hold on to dearly.
I plan on keeping all teeth and scrapbooking them. I'm a scrapbook freak. I even brought my scrapbook to the hospital so I could use their ink to make his foot impression in the book when he was born. Yea, even after HOURS of labor I remember to make the footmark 
If I were in your situation and this is the first tooth that he has lost KNOWING that I was the tooth fairy I would keep it simply to scrapbook it and say that my son is no longer a child, but maturing very fast.
If this isn't the first tooth that he has lost knowing that you were the tooth fairy then I would throw it out.
