We once butchered fairy tales together; will you join in and do the same to your fave xmas carol?
What child is this
Who slits his wrists
While his siblings are sleeping?
What demons greet
His soul, deplete
And terrorize with grim thoughts creeping?
This, this is suicide kid,
He's called 'emo', he's trendy,
His last wish?
To free his will
"oh, why does God not defend me?"
What secrets dark,
Subdue his spark
What perils does life to him render?
We read his pain
In scars and red stains,
And that is how we remember.

I realize this may be blasphemous and offensive and Grinch-like and all, but I just couldn't help myself. *sigh* I suppose Santa's skipping my house this year.
