Which is stronger? an object the shape of an egg or a sphere?
Which is stronger? an object the shape of an egg or a sphere?
a 2D view of the egg shows an oblong while a sphere is circular.
Whichever is stronger, I want to apply its design on structural objects.
I'm not talking about uniform thickness but rather the design itself... the shape.
is an egg stronger than a sphere? or are they the same?
I think spheres would be stronger. This is because I thnk the balance of where the pressure is positioned is spread out.
Although an egg is a very strong structure too.
Triangles are the most common structural shape.
