Wisdom tooth removal im 13 and terrified?
im really really really really really REALLY scared
wen they told me my eyes were watering
im soooooooooo scared so effin scared
there gonna put anestasia on me adn maybe some (hopefully not) injections
i cant take shots last time i took one i started crying before the shot
can i take pain killers before and after?????
so i can be extar extra extra numb
why am i sooo cursed
does it hurt really bad?????

I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 16, and my little sister got hers out 2 days after me...she was 13.
It's really not too bad at all.
You won't be able to take pain killers before the procedure, because they give you strict orders not to consume anything prior. They give you a specific number of hours - I don't quite remember.
When I got my wisdom teeth out they gave me something called laughing gas, which is simply a clear mask they put over your nose. You inhale the fumes and you start to feel really relaxed (but not uncomfortable at all). This is going to sound cliche, but you fall asleep before you know it.
I literally remember waking up and asking when they were going to begin the procedure. I don't remember getting any shots at all, even though I know I did because they told me so.
Afterwards what happens is they put gauze in your mouth to absorb the small amount of blood that is remaining. You Can take painkillers afterwards if they want to, unless they give your specific directions not to eat or drink anything.
Indeed, I won't lie to you, your mouth does hurt for a few days - 2 weeks afterwards. I don't remember eating an actual meal until 2 weeks after. Don't let that make you scared though.
There's really nothing to be afraid of, it'll be over before you know it, and it will benefit you in the long run! Good Luck
