I need some gift ideas for my mother-in-law, who really hates me?
I need to find a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. She is very upset that I am with her son. He has been Head of their House since his father died when he was 16. She is not happy with me and I am not allowed in her house. I wish to make ammends and show her that I am not there to destroy their "family". She is from eastern Europe and a non'practicing Christian. I want to find something she will at least appreciate. Last year I gave her a carved crystal dish that she scoffed at. Please help me.
Don't waste your time.... If the woman does not like you, no matter what you buy, it will not buy her love.
I know many people who have tried this same thing, and nothing good comes from it. You will spend your time trying to please this person, yet they will never appreciate it.
Just be respectful to her and her son.. and thats all You Can do....
