How do I make my bone jewelry its whitest?
I bought carved bone earrings and I polish them with this sesame body oil to keep them from drying out and cracking, but the oil does have an orangey tint to it, and I'm a little worried that it's going to make my earrings turn color. They already seem a little off-white (though I'm not certain it's from the oil -- I may have just not noticed it before). Is there anything I can do to get them whiter?
You know, over time bone jewelry is supposed to get an "aged" look to it.
But like the other answerer said, sesame oil isn't the right oil to use.
I'd use eucalyptus or cedar oil.
