What is your favourite Tarot deck and/or book and why?
If you had to pick just ONE;-)
BTW you religious fanatics are only making me happier by the minute that I am not religious when you post a stupid comment that is not a valid answer to the question. Go on, make my day.
I have four decks that I really like: the Robin Wood Tarot, the Gothic Tarot by Joseph Vargo, the Druidcraft by Stephanie and Philip Carr-Gomm and Will Worthington, and the Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti. I like each of them for different reasons and haven't been able to pick just one. You Can see examples from all of them except Joseph Vargos (I think) at: aeclectic.net.
As for books, I really like "Learning the Tarot" by Joan Bunning. It's an excellent book for the beginner as well as the advanced. If you want to buy only one Tarot Book, this one will tell you all you need to know. The entire book is available to read and reference online at her website: learntarot.com.
