anyone know this fairytale????? I need help. thanx?
I remember a fairy tale from when I was little about a girl who would go to a pond and talk to a magic fish that she had befriended and then her stepmother or someone found out and killed and ate the fish. But the girl saved the fishes bones and took it back to the pond? I know my description sucks but i know this is a real story. I remember reading the book but I dont remember what it was called does anybody know this fairytale? sorry I dont remember more but i think thats the main stuff?
ooh...yea. um...im thinking it might be called "Year of the fish"? theres a film out...its a recent one...but i didn't see anything like online about it being a book. so im not sure if its called the same thing. its like the asian version of cinderella.
