Black Gold
What do you use a black-gold reflector umbrella for?
I have white umbrellas, and black-gold. Whats the difference in these two?? How do i use them? What should I use them for?
Usually white umbrellas can be used 2 ways. One is as a reflector and the other is back-wards, shooting the light through it like a soft box.

Either way, the image gets white light and colors are what they are. Bright and colorful.

The gold reflector reflects gold or yellow light and the images made are warmer. The black is just a light shield so all the light reflects out. The white one's allow a portion of light to escape out the back, but they are made this was, as said above.

I prefer to use only white and then add whatever special EFX later, in the computer. Kinda like a good negative. If you have a good one, you could print it a gazillion ways, but if ya shoot it all doctored up, it is then frozen in that mood and makes few if any other kind of prints.
