Bad Luck

Is it bad luck to prepare the room for our new baby too soon?

I've been told that it was bad luck to set up the baby's room too early. Is this a silly superstition? Our baby is due in February (around the 25th). We have started making the baby's room already but have been told this was bad luck to set up the room too early.
So when do people usually have the room for their newborn completed?
Should we wait until a few weeks before the delivery date?

I don't believe in superstitions. Think of it this way.... if GOD FORBID anything happened, would it make it any easier on you if the room was decorated or not? It would be just as devastating. So I say no, as long as you are past your first trimester, then go ahead and set the room up and enjoy! Its so much fun planning for a baby!!
