Angel Reiki
Is this a recognised mental illness?
I know someone who really believes she can heal via reiki, and communicate with angels. She seems to think of herself as having awareness of things to come ....for example the evolution of a higher state of consciousness within the next three years, the supposed future human ability to make objects appear using the power of the mind. This adult totally obsesses about Robbie Williams, aliens, and the end of the world in 2012. I think all this is a bit odd. Does anyone have any suggestions on what, apart from being totally wibbling bonkers, might lead someone to seem this deluded about so many things at the age of 40? What worries me is not so much that she's nuts but that there are impressionable children exposed to this rubbish!
It is merely beliefs. Yes, there is a question on her sanity but I've heard worse beliefs in the past.
